It's about sharing Jesus
Jesus called us to reach the lost in the state that they're in. This requires meeting their physical and spiritual needs. (Matthew 28:16-20)
How to Pray.
“This then is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done,on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'" (Matthew 6:9-13)
Connecting Resources
We want to connect others to needed services. "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ (Matthew 25:35-36)
